HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT CASTER

1. Select the Body Style

Different casters serve different purposes:
  • Standard Casters (D472 Series): Affordable, single-wheel design (75 lbs.)
  • Mercury Casters: Smooth rolling tapered wheels
  • Duet Casters (PW20): Popular dual-wheel, 110 lbs., matte black
  • Twinstar Casters (TW23): Sleek twin-wheel, 120 lbs.
  • Superball Casters (SB20): Decorative hooded ball wheels
  • Futura Casters (FW236): Dual-wheel neck design
  • Heavy Duty 3” Casters (702XX): Up to 165 lbs.

2. SELECT THE WHEEL TYPE

  • Hard Wheels (H): Best for carpet
  • Soft Wheels (S): Best for wood, tile, laminate & chair mats
 

3. Select the Stem Type

  • Stem B (grip ring 7/16" x 7/8") → fits 99% of office chairs
  • Stem K → also fits 99% of metal chair bases
  • Threaded stems (S, T, etc.) → screw-in for special furniture
  • Plate mounts (J, Square J, etc.) → for fixed base furniture

4. Choose the Finish

Include this list:
  • Zinc (ZN)
  • Matte Black (MB)
  • Bright Chrome (BC)
  • Satin Chrome (SC)
  • Bright Nickel (BN)
  • Black Oxide (BO)
  • Grey

  • Body Style: D472
  • Stem Type: C
  • Wheel Type: S (Soft)
  • Finish: ZN (Zinc)
  • Additional Modifiers:
    • Add -5 for 5 casters per set
    • Add B2 or B4 for brakes
